Arthur and Ben met while living across the hall from each other in 2003 at Oberlin College. With a plethora of shared interests, they wiled away bitter cold winter nights discussing philosophy, technology and the world at large.

A year after Arthur moved to San Francisco in 2006, Ben made his way out to the Bay Area with the dream of developing Colingo, a free, web-based platform for language exchange. His exciting ideas convinced Arthur to jump on board. Since then, Arthur and Ben founded Colingo Labs, LLC to provide clients with high quality sustainable solutions, develop their own projects (such as Colingo) and to merge technology with their desire to leave the world a better place than they found it.
